Reverse Confetti Sneak Peeks | May Countdown to Confetti - Day #1

Hello all my crafty friends and welcome back! It's that special time again for a Reverse Confetti release. And this month, we are not only celebrating a new release, but Reverse Confetti's 9th Birthday!

I hope you will join us on May 5th, 6th and 7th for three days of sneak peeks.

Also, make sure to leave comments on all the blog and Facebook posts to be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate.

All the supplies from the new release will be available for purchase on Sunday, May 8th and there will be a blog hop that you can follow along to see lots of more amazing ideas from the entire Reverse Confetti Team.

For the Day #1 sneak peek we are sharing the Birthday Buddies stamp and Confetti Cuts set, as well as the Birthday Buddies Banter stamp set.

For today's card I created a scene using the cute little bees, and the balloons from the Birthday Buddies stamp set. To create the scene on my card, I used two new standalone Confetti Cuts that are also a part of the new release.

The stitched background is the new Folklore Cover Plate which creates a beautifully detailed A2 sized background. I cut this from a heavy weight white cardstock and cut 1/4" off each side to create a small border.

I used the new Large Rainbow Circle die to create the faux beehive. I cut the die twice -- once from yellow cardstock, and once from black cardstock -- then reassembled the circle, alternating the colors.

For the bees and balloons, I stamped the images onto Bristol Smooth cardstock with black pigment ink, heat embossed them with clear embossing powder, then colored them in with ZIG Clean Color markers.

Lastly, I arranged the bee and balloons onto the hive, and added a sentiment from the Birthday Buddies Banter set.

And...that was the card -- super easy to pull together. Thank you for stopping by! This is just day one of the sneak peeks. Head on back to my blog tomorrow to check out the next reveal.
